This Tiartisan 750ml pot is made from lightweight titanium and has a removable bail handle.
It appears identical to the Toaks 750ml pot with bail arm, for about half the price.
A bail handle is useful for:
- Pouring water (e.g. hot liquids)
- Easy lifting from a stove
- Hanging over a fire / coals
- Fetching water (from a stream, tied with rope/string)
Specifications
- Triangular handle on lid (slides to lock upright)
- Stamped markings inside the pot in ml and oz
- Lid vent holes for steam release / straining
- Folding titanium grip handles
- Cushioned storage sack
Pros
- 750ml is a good size for a cup or pot
- Titanium pots are good for boiling water
- Big enough to store a gas canister and stove inside
- The Jetboil coffee press, regular (affiliate link) fits
- Nest other pots inside. e.g:
Cons
- 20g heavier by given weight than the Toaks pot
- No reviews available
- Maybe finish and quality control is lesser?
- Food sticks to titanium pots at high heat (ti pots are best used for boiling water)
- Loose fitting lid (however, a lid that fits too tightly might be difficult to remove when hot)
- Lid needs securing when stowed (e.g. using supplied stuff sack or a rubber band)
- The handles are not insulated
- Bail handle wire is not very thick
- Bail arm mounts stick out slightly
- Pot base not completely flat (circular indentation)
- Included stuff sack is not very light
